Grouse Cottage is located in a peaceful spot, with an elevated position offering fantastic views to Ben More, the Wilderness Coast's cliffs, the isles of Ulva and Gometra and, in the distance, the Treshnish Islands.
After a busy day out walking or sightseeing, come home to this comfortable cottage, relax and watch the far-reaching sunsets out west beyond the islands.
The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen (with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave) and dining area, a separate utility room with washing machine and a family bathroom on the ground floor.
The snug lounge has a wood-burning stove and is a wonderful place to relax. Upstairs, there's a double bedroom and two single bedrooms - ideal for families or adult groups.
Outside, there's an enclosed, private garden with a fenced lawn from where you can enjoy the ever changing views out to sea and across the loch to the summit of Ben More, Mull's highest mountain.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Grouse Cottage, a spacious house with grand views over to Ulva and Gometra and perfectly located to explore the island. Kitchen well supplied with the basics, a well-stocked library (including the interior design book referencing Dennis Severs and Dan Cruikshanks and the NMS publication on the wealth of a Nation – read the introduction if nothing else - really collectors’ items – probably from the big house), trip safety lights and fragrant bedding and a beautiful Iona blanket.Toiletries lovely and we particularly loved the potted plants and fresh flowers. The maps and guidebooks were invaluable for finding the best walks and great days out.
The house is well decorated – fresh and colourful and we liked the wooden Scottish furniture…….
